1. Data we collect

• Account data — your email address, and authentication details when you sign in.
• Inputs you provide — brand names, categories, competitors, region and similar query parameters you enter to run scans.
• Payment data — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details; we receive limited information such as your plan, status and the last digits of your card.
• Usage & technical data — log data, IP address, device/browser information and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use data

• to provide the Service — run scans, generate reports, and deliver them to you;
• to process payments, manage subscriptions and send transactional emails (e.g. receipts, reports, alerts);
• to maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations; and
• to improve the Service.

3. Service providers (sub-processors)

We share data with trusted providers only as needed to run the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing;
• Postmark — transactional email delivery;
• Vercel & Upstash — hosting and data storage;
• Supabase — accounts and authentication;
• AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) — to run the buyer-intent queries that power your reports. The brand and category terms you enter are sent to these providers as part of normal queries.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then for any period required to meet legal, tax or security obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. International transfers

We operate from the United Arab Emirates and use providers located in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at analyst@alphacitation.com.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
