Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellation and refunds work for AlphaCitation, operated by Akunudo LLC-FZ. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Each renewal charges the payment method on file for the upcoming period.
2. Cancellation
- You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us — there is no cancellation fee.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then.
- We do not automatically refund the unused portion of the current period unless required by law or stated below.
3. Refunds
We want you to be satisfied. If you were charged in error, experienced a genuine service problem, or are unhappy with your first payment, contact us within 14 days of that charge and we will review it and, where appropriate, issue a refund or credit. Refunds are returned to your original payment method. Because the Service delivers digital reports immediately, refunds outside this window are at our discretion.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until payment succeeds. If it cannot be collected, the subscription may be cancelled.
5. Before you dispute a charge
If you see a charge you don't recognise or believe is wrong, please email us first at analyst@alphacitation.com — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Charges appear on your statement as AlphaCitation, a digital product owned and operated by Akunudo LLC-FZ.
